FREE TICKETS: Here’s How To Get Complimentary Tickets For SEA Games 2019

The Facebook Page of New Clark City and 2019 Sea Games issued a general announcement on how Filipinos can avail of complimentary tickets for SEA Games 2019 which will be held from November 30 to December 11, 2019.

Here’s how you can avail of FREE TICKETS for 30th SEA Games 2019 Sporting Events:

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT FOR COMPLIMENTARY TICKETS

Get up close and personal with your favorite sports teams and athletes at the 30th SEA games. Upon instructions of President Rodrigo Duterte and in partnership with PHISGOC, participating Local Government Units (LGUs) of the games are giving away complimentary tickets for major sports to its constituents.

Allotted complimentary tickets will be distributed to the residents of the respective LGUs having jurisdiction over a particular competition venue, such as Manila, Pasay, Pasig, Muntinlupa, Sta. Rosa, Biñan, Tagaytay, Calatagan, Angeles in Pampanga, San Fernando in Pampanga, San Juan in La Union, Subic, and Capas, Tarlac.

Complimentary tickets will be distributed by identified representatives of your respective LGUs. Check out your respective LGU websites for more information. For those residing outside of the mentioned LGUs, complimentary tickets will be available at SM Tickets outlets.

Maximum of two (2) tickets per person, a valid ID must be presented. Major sports such as basketball, volleyball, and football are still ticketed, prices can be found at the SM Tickets website.

Earlier, Senator Bong Go said that President Rodrigo Duterte is pushing to make the tickets free, saying “If allowed… alam nyo kilala ko si Pangulo gusto n’ya libre.”

The senator clarified, however, that the government cannot provide free tickets for some sporting events, such as basketball, football, and volleyball, as these sports will either be held in private venues or paid tickets are almost sold out.

The 2019 SEA Games, which will officially start on Saturday at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan, will be the fourth time that the country will host them.
