Nancy Binay On De Lima "below the belt" Attacks
On Tuesday, Binay explained her opinions on the issues involving De Lima that it already became rather a bit personal and already below the belt.
“‘Yung iba naman below the belt. Kung tutuusin, ano ba pakialam natin sa love life niya?” Binay told the media. According to the issues involving De Lima, it was reported that she received money from drugs during her administration as the Justice secretary alongside her driver and alleged Lover Ronnie Dayan who was said to be her money collector.
Senator Nancy Binay feels how it's like to be on the spotlight of controversies, she explained that in the past her family was undergoing the same persecution.
“After niya mag-privilege speech, nilapitan ko siya. Sinabihan ko siya na lilipas din ‘yan based from our experience diba?” Binay explained.
De Lima delivered a speech during the plenary session in defence of her side against the issues involving her and how she was biased in handling the senate probe on drug-related killings when she was the chair, last week.
De Lima withdrawn as chair of the Senate justice committee after her fellow senators majority voted her out she was handling the investigation when that happen and Binay was one of the 16 senators who voted in favor of the motion.
Senator Binay and her family had earlier proclaimed political persecution when her father, former Vice President Jejomar Binay, the subject of investigation in the Senate for alleged corruption during his term as city mayor of Makati, that's why she stated how she knew what De Lima was going through.
Her father was a frontrunner but eventually Duterte had won the presidential race.
