1,000 Officials Involved In The New 'Narco List' Of President Rodrigo Duterte

Alleged 1,000 names are involved in the new "narco list" of government officials who are said to be linked to prohibited drugs, a statement released by President Rodrigo Duterte on Thursday. 

Duterte promised to reveal 1,000 names soon to the public as a part of his thrilling campaign against illegal drugs. 


"The final report is there. I’m going to make it public. I spoke with Congress and asked them what I will do with this. There are 1,000 barangay captains, policemen, mayors, governors and judges,” Duterte stated to the members of the First Scout Ranger Regiment in Camp Tecson.

“I have asked the intelligence community, the PDEA (Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency) and the NICA (National Intelligence Coordinating Agency) to fine-tune the list,” he added.

“Di ko na kaya ito (I can’t take this anymore),” he added.

Duterte vowed a war against Illegal drugs and who already linked politicians, lawmakers, judges to the illegal trade of drugs while officials said that the expose would allow their people to clear their name some said that it violates due process. 

While the war is ongoing, he also accused senator Leila Delima, previously Justice secretary and one of the critic of the extra killings that's happening while the war on drugs is still ongoing. 

Duterte claimed that he purposely shamed public officials because they act as if they were superstars now they feel like as if they were naked, Duterte added.

Duterte promised to stop illegal drugs and crime within six months and chase drug lords and their protectors in the government because he added that if he fails to cleanse our country we will turn in to a "narco state" with drug addicts ranging to 3.7 million people.


Even after exposing to the public about public officials who are linked with drug lords, Duterte still undergo the pressure of the reports that came right after his strategic move.
