Kiko On Ozamiz Raid: 15 Killed, No Police Casualties, Hindi Makatotohanan

The President of Liberal Party Senator Francis ‘Kiko’ Pangilinan said the story of raid conducted by Philippine National Police against Parojinog clan in San Roque Lawis, Ozamiz City on early Sunday, July 30,  is ‘unrealistic.’

“Serving warrants of arrest past 2 AM. Disabling the Close Circuit TV cameras (CCTV) prior to entering the premises. All 15 suspected drug lords at the scene of the crime and their ‘armed to the teeth’ bodyguards are killed. No injuries or casualties on the side of the PNP. Hindi makatotohanan,” Senator Pangilinan said in a statement.

“Pwedeng gawin ito kaninuman,” he added.

At 2:30 a.m. of Sunday, operatives from Ozamiz City Police, Misamis Occidental Provincial Police Office, and the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG)-10 carried out the raid armed with search warrants for illegal firearms.

According to police report, operatives were met with gun fires.

Fifteen were killed from the side of Parojinogs including Ozamiz City Mayor Reynaldo “Aldong” Parojinog, his wife Susan, and his brother Octavio Parojinog Jr.

Aldong’s daughter Ozamiz Vice Mayor Nova Princess was arrested.

Aldong and Nova Princess were repeatedly mentioned by President Rodrigo Duterte as among the so-called narco politicians.
