Senator Trillanes Believes That President Rodrigo Duterte Is Not A Corrupt Politician

Senator Antonio Trillanes IV during an interview with Philippine Daily Inquirer on last March 2016 said that President Rodrigo Duterte is not a corrupt politician.

According to the Senator, former Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte is not a corrupt politician unlike former Vice President Jejomar Binay who faced corruption controversies before and during the campaign period.

“I believe si Duterte to be fair hindi naman siya corrupt ano” Senator Trillanes IV told the press.

But suddenly, when the election period near to end, Senator Antonio Trillanes IV released accusations against the future President of the Philippines, saying that he hid millions of pesos in his bank accounts.

Last week, when he revived the undeclared wealth issue against the President, he claimed that President Duterte allegedly got his wealth from the Davao City Intelligence fund.

However, the President of the Philippines denied the allegations of the Senator.

During the election period, President Duterte also said that Senator Trillanes visited him in Davao City asking to become his running mate.
