Cathedral Phantoms Wins In Overtime Versus Long Beach Poly In PasadenaLast January 19, 2015


Cathedral Phantoms fought one of their best games so far by winning the game against Long Beach Poly in overtime held in LaSalle in Pasadena.

It was a crucial fight between both teams as the game went into overtime.  KJ Feagin of Long Beach Poly drove out the stretch of the court and shoots to tie the game at 55 at the end of regulation. However, the Cathedral gained control in the overtime. Kobe Paras was not able to play for Phantoms because of his sprained ankle.

Long Beach Poly leads Cathedral 29-24 at halftime. Leandro Amador has 17 big points to lead the Phantoms in the first half.

At the third quarter, Milan Acquuah executed well in the court and the Cathedral is leading the Long Beach Poly, 46-41. Milan still continues to lead the Phantoms in the fourth 50-47 with 3:23 left in the clock to go in the finale.

Long Beach Poly managed to cut the lead of Cathedral Phantoms to 52-51 with less than minute to go in the final quarter. A big time three by Lucas Siewert added to the lead of Phantoms 55-53 with 30 seconds left.

It was Long Beach Poly ball and trailing 55-53 with seconds to play, the game was tied at 55 because of the cross-court drive of KJ Feagin.

In the overtime, Lucas is hot in three-point range and gave the Phantoms a sweet victory over Poly. Final score in the overtime is 68-64.

It was a team effort that made the Phantoms victorious. Milan Acquuah finishes with 27 points, Leandro Amador had 23 and Lucas Siewert with 12.
