Cathedral Phantoms Lost Against Valley Vikings With A Final Score of 68- 80


After Cathedral Phantoms winning 9 consecutive games, they lost to Valley Vikings with a final score of 68 - 80.

Kobe Paras who had 23 big points was not able to lift the Cathedral Phantoms in winning the game.  This is the second game of the day of Cathedral Phantoms after beating the Basic Wolves.

Kobe stats are as follows; 23 points, he grabbed 6 rebounds (4 offensive and 2 defensive), 3 steals and 2 blocks.

He shoots 5 out of 9 in the 3-point area (56%), 4 out of 9 in the 2-point range (44%).

Quarter scores are as follows;

Valley Vikings - 25 in the first, 17 in the second quarter, another 17 in the third quarter and 21 in the fourth quarter, a total of 80 points.

Cathedral Phantoms - 18 points in the first quarter, 16 on the second, 11 in the third and 23 in the fourth quarter, a total of 68 points.

Cathedral now has a record of 9 - 1, #78 in the national rank and #12 in California State.

Valley Vikings is a solid team with a record of 16 - 0, #151 in the national rank and #3 in Nevada State.

They already won against Campbell, Liberty and Basic but lost to Valley. This game is for Las Vegas Prep Championships Semifinals.

The Cathedral will move on to their next game on January 05, 2015 against Milikan Rams as part of the new tournament which is Roybal HS (Huntington Park Tournament).
