PNoy Revives Twitter, Facebook Accounts To Give Voice To Certain Issues
Former President Benigno Aquino III is back in cyberspace as
he revived his Twitter and Facebook accounts Friday, October 27, after more
than a year of being inactive.
On Twitter, the former President shared photos from his
visit to the Thai Embassy to pay his last respects to the late King Bhumibol
Adulyadej.
Aquino also updated his profile and cover photos on Facebook to signal he’s back online.
The former President has over 3.1 million followers on Twitter while his Facebook page is followed by 4 million Netizens.
Aquino has maintained a low profile since stepping down from office in June last year.
He was last seen in public at the unveiling of the statue of
human rights lawyer Jose W. Diokno in September.
With Aquino’s return to cyberspace, speculation is rife that
he will use his Facebook and Twitter to lend his voice to certain issues.
