In South Korea’s famous Jeju Island, a “Hunger Games” movie
attraction and theme park will be opening in 2019.
In partnership with Landing Jeju Development Co., Ltd.
Lionsgate will create the “Lionsgate Movie World” theme park within the Jeju
Shinhwa World resort.
The theme park will be the centerpiece of Jeju Shinhwa
World, which accommodates various vacation resorts around the island.
“Lionsgate Movie World” will be the very first international
theme park to rise in Korea.
Its theme features famous Lionsgate movies like “The Hunger
Games,” “Twilight,” “Now You See Me,” and the upcoming 2018 “Robin Hood” movie.
The park will span approximately 1.3 million square feet

familiar places, streets and towns from the aforementioned movies will be
recreated.
“Lionsgate Movie World” will also offer guests to be able to
“experience actual movie scenes” with a combination of rides, themed
restaurants, cafes, souvenir shops and performances.
Construction for the Lionsgate Movie World is scheduled to
begin in 2018, and expected to open gates to the public in 2019.
