Clarkson Sends His Regards To Gilas After Winning Gold At SEA Games

One thing is for sure, Jordan Clarkson definitely wants to wear that blue and white Pilipinas jersey in an officially-sanctioned game

Speaking to Steve Angeles of Balitang America, the Los Angeles Lakers guard sent his regards to the Philippine national team.

On Saturday, August 26, Gilas Pilipinas destroyed Indonesia to win gold at the 2017 Southeast Asian Games.

It was the country’s 12th straight title in the biennial meet.

There were talks that Clarkson would join Gilas in Kuala Lumpur although that plan obviously didn’t fall through.

However, the high-flying guard remains optimistic about finally joining Gilas soon enough.

“It’s good, I hope they continue the success,” Clarkson, who will enter his fourth season with the Lakers, said.

“Hopefully I’ll be able to suit up soon,” he added.
