Thousands of Filipinos in Singapore waited for hours just to
see and welcome Philippine President Rody Duterte during his state visit in
the country.
In spite of the criticisms from the worldwide group,
President Duterte remained widespread among Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs).
The Filipino community are very excited to meet the
President some have been queuing up since 8am for his 6pm meet and greet.
Others even sacrificed their one day salary just to attend
the speech of President Duterte at the Max Pavilion and Hall 9 at the Singapore
Expo.
The Organizers issued 6,000 tickets for the occasion,
however, the anticipated quantity of the supporters who needed to attend the event
elevated because many of them turned up hours early.
During the marketing campaign interval, the OFWs helped
President Duterte to change into a social media phenomenon and made him
received the 2016 election.
The President addressed the Filipinos in Singapore by thanking
them and urged them to stand up for their rights.

rights.”
