Bataan Is Now Drug-Free Declared By PNP
Bataan police director, Senior Supt. Benjamin Silo Jr. told that the province of Bataan is now clear of illegal drugs in just more than three months.
The success of the the stoppage of proliferation of illegal drugs in the province is contributed to the support and efforts of local government headed by Governor Abet Garcia and the local police.
“We forwarded the report already to the Office of the President, then after verification, Malacañang will be the one to officially announce it,” Silo said.
To maintain the province as drug-free, Silo said that the members of “Sumbong Bilis Monitoring Team” ( SBMT) will monitor and report to the police of any presence of illegal drugs trade and use “so we can act on it.”
