Fil-Am Jordan Clarkson Of Los Angeles Lakers Foresees Kobe Paras To Play In NBA


The former Missouri stand out and Fil-Am player Jordan Clarkson who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers as a rookie foresees Kobe Paras to play in NBA soon.

The 6'5" 22-year-old rookie pointguard Jordan Clarkson whose mother is a Filipino named Annette, is the second player with Filipino roots to play in NBA after Raymond Townsend who played in the league in the early 1980's.

Clarkson pointed out the former La Salle Greenhills standout Kobe Paras, who's now playing as a wingman for the Los Angeles Cathedral Phantoms that Paras has the potential to enter the NBA someday.
I know some kids out here in L.A. like Kobe Paras that are doing well. Hopefully, they'll be on this level soon, Clarkson said.
Recently, Clarkson achieved his career-high 25 points game loss against Memphis Grizzlies.

Clarkson was a second round draft pick and now averaging 9.4 points per game for 40 games. He is listed as the fourth highest scoring among all rookies.

Clarkson haven't been in the Philippines and wanted to visit during the NBA off-season.
I haven't been there yet, but I've heard it's a great place to go and experience everything, especially the basketball culture, Clarkson said.
