Byron Scott: Fil-Am Jordan Clarkson Has Similar Explosiveness To Russell Westbrook

The Los Angeles Lakers point guard rookie Fil-Am Jordan Clarkson was compared to Russell Westbrook by his coach Byron Scott.

Byron just compared Clarkson to Russell Westbrook. Sort of. Said Clarkson "nowhere near" Westbrook as a player but has similar athleticism.

Russell Westbrook is on his momentum by having his 9th triple-double performance and one of the candidate to win the MVP award.

Lately, Clarkson and Westbrook went head-to-head and outscored the veteran point guard of Oklahoma Thunder 30 to 27.

Last January, Clarkson admitted that he took some stuff the way Westbrook plays.

"I watch Russell a lot," Clarkson told NBCLA.com. "I watch him a lot. I take some stuff from his game, the way he’s aggressive at all times."

Jordan Clarkson recorded his career-high 30 points but they lost to Oklahoma Thunder.
